Senior Specialist Course 2008

Saturday
Woke up ard 5.45am. Showered, changed to no.3 ncc uniform, and went to school. Reached there ard 6.35am. Waited for Mr Tay & the bus to reach school. On the way to Amoy Quee Camp ard 7am. I, MT, YH, CG & SS were assigned to different platoons. Very sad sia. I was assigned to platoon 3, which is also called 'Whiskey 3'. Made a lot of new friends and met some old friends. Had the openning 'ceremony'. Was given a speech by the course warrant. Then, we were further broken into sections. I was in section 2. My section got 12 ppl. Then, had lunch. Food was nice. After that, had our advanced arm drill. This part very interesting & fun. We learned new arm drills like julang senjata, kaleh senjata, bimbit senjata & tatang senjata. Then, we learned the formation of squad, the u-shaped thing ah. Had dinner ard 6.30pm. Then, had revision for our foot & arm drills mutual test the next day. Had night snacks after that. Then, we were assigned to our bunks. Non-muslims & muslims slept at different blocks. I and Khairi (from Juying Sec) went to another bunk at level 3. We did nt realised abt it when 2 CLT came to the bunk & check whether everyone in the bunk were from Sierra company (I n Khairi were from Whiskey company). The 2 of us told the CLTs abt it, and they led us to the bunk we were supposed to sleep in. But, the bunk had no vacant beds. So, I slept at the other bunk (Whiskey 2 or 1's bunk) while Khairi had to slp in the previous bunk. I was kind of lost ah...inside my new bunk, cuz I dunno them. So, I juz kept quiet n slp.

Sunday
Someone's bell rang. All of us woke up. They said that it was 5.30am (the time we had to wake up), but it was actually 4.30am. Haizzzz...I used the time to revise for my mutual tests. Changed to No. 4 uniform, fall in, had breakfast, then, our mutual tests had to be delayed, cuz someone's handphone was stolen. The CLTs suspected that my platoon was responsible for it cuz we were inside that bunk when it happened. Since no one admits it, we were spot-checked with our bags. Nth was found. And, so, we started our mutual tests. I was the last 3rd cadet to do the foot drill mutual test, while I was the 3rd cadet to do the arm drill mutual test. I did my best for both of them. But, my arm drill mutual was not impressive. My mind was somehow blank. But, its okay. Since my section finished the earliest (supposed to finish all this at ard 5.30pm, but we finished it ard 3pm. So, we sat at one corner, and talked & talked. I, Hakeem, Ramadhan, Shari, Iskandar & Khairi talked n talked non-stop and kept on changing subjects. Funny ah...then, 'result show'. My madam, was not so strict and had little expectation on us, so all of us passed with flying colours. I was shocked to know that my arm drill mutual marks was 42 out of 50. I dunno the result for foot drill on the other hand. But, I shld get ard 87 marks out of 100, cuz I am confident tt I did better for my foot drill mutual. Kk, then, had dinner, returned the M16s back to the armourer. Had night snacks. Talked cock with sir. Oh, and Sir Hidayat gave us a lot of useful advices for us on how to be a good leader and so on. We had cheers and more. Funny oi! My sir turned insane as he pulled my platoonmate while 'squeezing' and cheering the 'we will win the war' cheer. LOL! Then, muslims had brefing for the next day's, which is the start of the fasting month. Slept ard 10.30pm.

Monday
Woke up ard 4am. Had breakfast until 5am. Sleep until 7am. Changed to No. 3 uniform wiv badges. Had AAR (after action review), and ethics and decorum. Then, had rehearsal for the graduation ceremony. Then, the actual one started and ended quickly. Next, was our turn, to get our certs and ranks and lanyards. Took a few section photos. Refreshments for non-muslims, then, took our bags and fall-in. Had our last march and cheer in the camp (as I won't be going back there anymore if Im not participating in any course). Sad rite? Then, we say goodbyes to each other. We thanked all the CLTs for taking good care of us. And, thxed to Sir Sholihin for his funny jokes. Hahahaha!!! Then, I waited for the rest (mt, yh, cg & ss) outside. While w8ing, the other phase from central district were juz on their way to the camp to have the same course as me. We showed our lanyards to them, and kissed it. Hahahaha...they jealous oi!!! Soon, the 4 of them came, and we walked until I saw my dad's car. I was amazed. I didnt noa tt he would be picking me up. And, so I left the 4 of dem. I went to my father's office at loyang, b4 going home. Now, Im resting. Woohoo! Cant w8 to 'show-off' to my frens in school, especially those from UG. U all better watch out, I tell u! Im now a Staff Sergeant, u all better treat me wiv respect...or else...
